Welcome to the Rural Village of Oussias, an invitation to travel to the past.
The 14 houses are located in Carralcova, 12Km from Vila dos Arcos de Valdevez, near Peneda Gerês National Park, classified as Worldwide Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
Here you will find harmony between human and Nature, a very calm village where agriculture and cattle breeding crosses our path with granite mountains molded by time as background.
Recognised as Nature Tourism by ICNF, natural.pt, GreenKey and also recently by Tripadvisor with Gold as Greenleaders, ArcosHouse has adopted the sustainability flag. We have adopted measures to reduce our ecological footprint and we promote those with our guests. Nature is a temple that should be admired and preserved and we suggest to our guests to go out and explore the surroundings and connect with the Fauna and Flora, respecting mother Nature.
The houses in our village are in rustic style, have been acquired in high state of degradation and recovered, trying to maintain its original layout but with all the comfort of a modern home, some with private jacuzzi and fireplace in the bedroom. Our goal is to provide a truly unforgettable and unique accommodation to those who visit us.
It is the ideal place for a well-deserved rest, a weekend getaway, a romantic evening or a family holiday. By itself, the landscapes provide relaxing moments, with a magnificent mountain range and the Serra da Peneda Gerês at the foot is created the ideal setting to live romantic and unforgettable moments.
